(More customer reviews)I purchased the monitor on the assumption I would be able to remotely stop the generator, as the limited documentation does refer to this capability.
My plan was to be able to shut the generator off at night without the need to go outside and manually turn it off. Can't do it with this unit.
Unfortunately you can only stop it if you have manually initiated a test or transfer, it the transfer occurred because of a power outage it just ignores the stop command.
